Rob and Renege is an offline card game that recreates a Forty-Five "drive night" against computer-controlled opponents. It needs no internet connection to play and never attempts to reach one.
We — the makers of Rob and Renege — do not collect, receive, transmit or have any access to any information about you or your device. The app contains no analytics software development kit, no advertising network, and no server of any kind to send data to.
| Data type | Collected? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Contact info (name, email) | No | Never requested inside the app |
| Usage data / analytics | No | No analytics framework is included |
| Location | No | Never requested |
| Photos you choose to add | Stored on device only | Used for your seat photo or a drive's keepsake photo; never leaves your device |
| Identifiers / advertising data | No | No advertising of any kind |
Your score book, your drives, your notes, any photos you add through the camera or your photo library, and your app settings are stored locally on your device in a private database and the app's own folder. We cannot see, back up or recover this information — if the app is deleted, or your device is reset without a personal backup, this information is gone.
If you choose to add a seat photo or a keepsake photo for a drive, the app asks to use your camera or photo library at that moment and for that reason only. Any photo you pick is stored on your device alongside your other app data and is never uploaded anywhere.
If you turn on the drive-night reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device through Apple's notification system. No notification content is sent to or generated by any outside server.
Rob and Renege collects no personal data from anyone, including children. The app does not knowingly collect any information from any user of any age.
